Former Gloucester City player Tyler Weir has rejoined the club until the end of the season.

Weir has been plying his trade at Worcester City in recent years but has now returned to Gloucester City. A versatile player, he can play at left and right-back or defensive midfield.

Upon putting pen to paper, Weir had this to say: “To be honest I’ve always felt that I’ve had unfinished business here and I’m really happy to be back. Things have changed since I was last year, everything is so much more professional and I can’t wait to get going and start helping the team get the points on the board and finally start moving up that table.”

Manager Chris Todd added: “When I spoke to Tyler, it was clear that he really wanted to play for the club. It’s always great to get a player who has his home club at heart and Tyler is someone who will offer the squad that much needed experience and ability to play in a few positions.”
