Goalscorer Craig Cairns has returned to Runcorn Town on dual-registration terms from City of Liverpool.
Cairns first signed for Runcorn in August 2016, and went on to become the fastest player to reach 100 goals for the club, his century coming in just 92 appearances.
His total record stands at 119 goals in 115 games.
Manager Paul McManus said: “I am delighted to have Craig come back in and join us. As management, you are looking to strengthen your squad all the time, and bringing Craig back in certainly does that.
“As always, he was a sought-after lad for many clubs, but he’s a great fit for us and we are both looking forward to working together again to push the club on this season.”
