Torquay United have announced that midfielder Jake Gosling has signed for the club.
Twenty-three-year-old Gosling joins after leaving Sky Bet League One side Bristol Rovers and spent time on loan with Newport County, Cambridge United, and Forest Green Rovers whilst with the Gas.
Gosling is no stranger to the West Country having started his youth career with Plymouth Argyle before moving to Exeter City in 2010.
Gosling has also played international football having featured for Gibraltar.
He scored on his debut in a 1-1 draw against Estonia in 2014.
“I’m delighted to get Jake signed and sorted,” said player-manager, Kevin Nicholson. “He is a very talented player who has experienced a bit of a plateau in his career and he’s desperate to show what he is about. It is those kinds of players that thrive in our environment, and if we can get the best out of him then we will be in a good place and so will he.
“He has work to do, and the onus will be in him to keep pushing his limits to improve and get back to the level he should be playing at.
“I am really looking forward to getting him on the training ground and seeing him at work”.
