According to Sportsmail, Graham Alexander and John Sheridan are two of the managers currently interesting Salford City.
With joint-gaffers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley leaving the newly-promoted Vanarama National League club this week after disagreements over contract length and performance bonuses, the Ammies are said to be looking for League experience in their next appointment. Alexander left Scunthorpe in March despite the Iron still sitting in a League One play-off place.
Sheridan, meanwhile, has vast managerial experience, having led Oldham Athletic in three spells, as well as others including Chesterfield and Plymouth Argyle. The former Ireland midfielder came in to help steer Fleetwood Town to League One safety but is set to be replaced by Joey Barton this summer.
