Mark Molesley praised the mental strength of his players after Weymouth secured back-to-back last gasp wins thanks to a late own goal against Hemel Hempstead in their Vanarama National League South clash.
Terras made the four-hour journey to Vauxhall Road on Tuesday night, still buzzing from Abdulai Baggie’s 95th-minute winner in the 2-1 victory over Dorking Wanderers on Saturday.
That same spirit gave Weymouth the edge in this tie, as an own goal from a Josh Wakefield corner gave the visitors a deserved late win.
After the game, Molesley said: “I think it says everything about the group. The die hard attitude, the belief and desire to win. I think it speaks volumes about their character.
“Ever since we have come in we have always scored late goals and it is a good reflection on the group’s mentality.”
