Guiseley joint-manager Marcus Bignot has been confirmed as one of six coaches to join the set-up within England’s men’s teams.
It is part of The FA’s (alongside the PFA) next phase of an Elite Coach Placement Programme, which also sees Chris Powell join Gareth’s Southgate’s senior staff.
Bignot, who works alongside Russ O’Neill at Guiseley, will link up with Under-18 head coach Ian Foster.
Guiseley have enjoyed an impressive start to their National League North season, with five wins from their first eight games.
Aidy Boothroyd’s U21 set-up will be strengthened by former Derby County defender and Guyana boss Michael Johnson, while Jason Euell will work alongside Keith Downing in the U20s. Omer Riza and Matthew Thorpe will work with Justin Cochrane’s U16s and Lee Skyrme’s U15s, respectively.
