Torquay United have taken youngster Billy Palfrey on a month`s loan from League Two neighbours Plymouth Argyle.

Palfrey, from Looe in Cornwall, attended Looe Community College. He represented Cornwall schools at primary and secondary levels and played for local side Looe Town in his early years.

He joined Argyle’s Centre of Excellence as an eight-year-old, but left the programme four years later to play local football, during this period he also experienced trials for Leeds United only to return to the Academy in 2013.

Palfrey was an influential player in the team that won the Merit League title.
