Nuneaton Borough crashed out of the FA Youth Cup despite five goals from Luis Corcoran and holding a 7-2 lead with less than 30 minutes to play.

Halesowen Town came from behind and progressed 9-8 thanks in part to two Emlyn Tudgay goals in stoppage time.

At 7-2, Dan Danks bagged his second for Halesowen just after the hour mark, and the visitors made it interesting with two goals in the 70th minute through James Griffiths and Tad Mutasa.

Bruce Tsinonis was punished for a handball with 20 to play and Danks sealed his hat-trick from the spot as a result. Corcoran added an eighth for the Boro’ with seven minutes to play to give the hosts some breathing room but it wasn’t enough as Josh Beard pulled it to 8-7 in the 86th minute and two goals from Emlyn Tudgay in stoppage time put the visitors through.
