Hampton & Richmond Borough have announced the return of former Beavers fan favourite Dean Inman, who has reached a mutual agreement with Kingstonian over the remainder of his contract.
Inman spent part of last season on the books of K’s, following his transfer from the Beavers divisional rivals Billericay Town in November 2018.
The popular central defender started life with Brentford before joining the Beavers in August 2010. After leaving Hampton to join Hayes & Yeading FC in 2013, he then joined Maidenhead United in 2015 and teamed up once more with Hampton legend Alan Devonshire. He then moved to Billericay Town in 2017.
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Inman said “I’m very happy to be back at my local club where my journey started nearly ten years ago.
“I’ve spoken to (manager) Gary (McCann) at length over the summer and was really impressed with the plans he has for the next few seasons. I’m really looking forward to getting back out on the pitch as a Hampton player again and seeing where the season takes us.”
McCann added: “It has taken a long time and a lot of hard work to make this happen. Dean has taken the football route over financial considerations to come to us and I would like to pay tribute to him for that. He has had to bend a lot to do this deal.”
