Hanley Town have confirmed that manager Micky Morton has opted to resign from his role.
The club’s former player took over as manager just over two years ago.
The NWCFL Premier Division side, who were sitting 6th in the table this season, have said:
“Hanley Town Football Club last night reluctantly accepted manager Micky Morton’s resignation.
“We would like to place on record our thanks to Micky for years of dedication to the club as player and manager.
“He will always be welcome at Hanley Town Football Club.”
