Louis Carder-Walcott has left Bostik League South Central side Westfield as assistant manager to take the reins as manager of Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division club Hanworth Villa.

Carder-Walcott takes over at Rectory Meadow from former Queens Park Rangers and Fulham star Rufus Brevett, who left earlier this month having taken over in May 2016.

Carder-Walcott has been a massive help to manager Tony Reid’s successful teams over the last few seasons and Westfield were sorry to see him leave.

Carder-Walcott has managerial experience with Bedfont & Feltham, where he took over as boss in January 2015 following a spell as caretaker-manager after the departure of Dean Thomas but was sacked in February 2016.
