Harlow Town have announced the double signing of defender JJ Da Cruz from Barking and Josh Bexon from Southend United.
Da Cruz is a tall centre-back who started the season with Barking, for whom he signed from Cheshunt mid-way through last season. The former Hornchurch man will be a welcome addition to the Harlow Town defence and he was registered in time to be considered for selection for last ngiht’s first home league game against Burgess Hill Town.
Danny Chapman has also added to his goalkeeping options with the signing of Josh Bexon on loan from Southend United. He joined the Shrimpers’ youth system in 2015 before signing a professional contract last season.
Harlow also confirm the signing of Alex Clark from Southend, who was signed just in time for the league opener away to Whitehawk. He is a young winger who came through Finesse Football Academy before signing a scholarship with Southend United. He featured for the League One side’s Under-23’s team and also spent time on loan at Lowestoft Town.
Unfortunately, Clark suffered an injury halfway through the first game and will face a period of time on the sidelines.
