There’s a busy schedule of Easter weekend action ahead as Torquay United follow up their trip to Dover Athletic on Saturday with a home game against another play-off chasing side in Eastleigh on Bank Holiday Monday.

Experienced front-man, Shaun Harrad, is relishing the challenge ahead as they look to build on their impressive recent form that has seen them move out of the bottom four.torquay united badge

“I’m really enjoying my football here and it didn’t take long for me to realise that coming here was the correct decision,” he admitted. “The key to our upturn in fortunes has been the characters that the Gaffer has brought in.

“It’s an honest group with everyone pulling in the same direction and giving 110% to the cause.

“It’s high-intensity stuff and the games are coming thick and fast, but it’s just a joy to be part of it.

“Each new game is bigger than the last and it’s an important weekend coming up. This is just the way I like it and whilst there is plenty of hard work ahead, we’re ready for it.”
