HEAD of Coaching Matt Gardiner says he and boss John Eustace are enjoying the “exciting bit” of searching for new talent to bring to Harriers for the new season.

Aggborough chief Eustace and Gardiner, who begins his role alongside the gaffer in full from July 1st, have been kept occupied since the closure of last season.

There’s little doubt their minds are buzzing with the activity that presents itself at this time of the year but, amidst all of that, Gardiner says there’s plenty of enjoyment to be had.

He offered his thoughts after a weekend visit to Aggborough and gave an insight into just what he and the Manager are dealing with.

He explained: “It’s always good to sit down with the players – that’s the business end of things and it’s the exciting bit.

“We are trying to bring people in to complement the squad we have already got and it’s been a good day – hopefully we can have some news for people soon.
