Colin Gordon has confirmed that Luke Maxwell has left Kidderminster Harriers to return to parent club Birmingham City for the remainder of the campaign

Academy graduate Maxwell signed for the Blues from Harriers earlier this season but returned to Aggborough on loan.khfc

However, with his development continuing at a pace, Gordon has revealed that the youngster is to now remain under their watchful eye on a permanent basis.

He said: “Luke has been making a big impression on Gary Rowett and the staff at Birmingham with his performances in their under-21s and as such they want him training full-time with them as he looks to break through to the first team.

“We’re absolutely fine with that and we’re all delighted for him – it would be great to go on and see him make that breakthrough as soon as possible.”

Maxwell departs Aggborough with career stats of 2 goals in forty-seven appearances.
