Popular midfielder, Ben Whitfield, has re-joined Kidderminster Harriers from Barclays Premier League side AFC Bournemouth.

The 19-year-old has already enjoyed a positive spell with Harriers, making a dozen appearances for the club, including a goal on his debut in the draw at Altrincham.

His energetic displays have seen the Aggborough faithful take to him swiftly, and CEO Colin Gordon admitted it was a boost to have him back in the camp.

“It was Ben’s call and Ben wanted to be here,” he said. “He absolutely loved his time here but he had options, as everyone can imagine, for the ability and endeavour he has.

“He wants to be here and we’re delighted with that.”
