Chester FC have announced that chairman David Harrington-Wright has opted to step down.
City Fans United have confirmed that he will also stand down from his membership on the Board of City Fans United. Harrington-Wright, who will support the board through this period of transition, was formally elected to the Blues board back in October 2017.
It was announced last December that he was to take a step back from his chairmanship of the National League North promotion-chasers to care for his wife Fiona, who sadly passed away in January.
Current vice-chairman Andrew Morris is to step up into the role of chairman initially until the next AGM, scheduled for 22nd October 2020.
