Tranmere Rovers midfielder Jay Harris says that the team need to bounce back from Saturday’s 2-1 defeat against Welling United and pick up four victories from the remaining league fixtures to try to maintain their play-off position.

He told Tranmere Player: “We’re all disappointed. We needed a win today and we started trfcbrightly but I don’t think we recovered after they scored the equaliser.

“Today’s performance was unacceptable and we can’t do that again.

“I don’t think you can argue with the result, it was a poor performance by us. We’ve got to pick ourselves up and we have to get a win on Saturday, nothing less will do now.

“A win today would have seen us be more secure in the play-offs. We can only control our next four matches so we need four wins.

“We have a big week to prepare for the next game and we need to get that win, so we’ll prepare for Saturday and then lets go.”
