Harrogate Town have signed young defender James King on loan from League One side Bradford City until the end of April.

King committed his future to the Bantams by signing a new one-year contract in June after the 20-year-old’s current deal expired in May.

After graduating up from City’s youth set-up, King enjoyed his first season as a professional last year.

The defender’s campaign was hampered, however, by a serious ankle sustained early into the season.

King was sidelined for over three months with the injury but he returned in time to help City’s reserves secure the Final Development League West Division.

He has made one senior appearance for Bradford this term.
