Harrogate Town’s George Thomson has put pen to paper on a new deal that sees the midfielder commit his future to the club.

Since signing from FC United of Manchester in May 2017, the midfielder has made over a half century of appearances for Town; contributing 13 goals and 15 assists in that time.

The 26-year-old caught the eye in his first season with a series of memorable goals, including stunning efforts against his former employers FCUM and Stockport County that helped Town to promotion.

Thomson joins Josh Falkingham, Liam Agnew, Warren Burrell, Ryan Fallowfield, Joe Leesley and James Belshaw in recently signing new contracts at the club as they look to build a core of players for their time in the National League.
