Harrogate Town have confirmed the capture of 23-year-old central defender Terry Kennedy.
The Barnsley-born defender began life at his hometown club before making the move to Sheffield United, where he would go on to make 19 appearances for The Blades between 2011 and 2016; all but one coming in League One.
Following a loan spell at Cambridge United, Kennedy joined Alfreton for the 2016/17 season where he made 38 appearances in a campaign that saw The Reds steer clear of relegation.
Kennedy is Town’s sixth signing of the Summer following the arrivals of Jordan Thewlis, James Belshaw, Josh Falkingham, George Thomson and Ryan Fallowfield.
Simon Weaver’s newest recruit will be joining up for first team training at the beginning of July ahead of our first pre-season friendly on July 12th.
