Stockport County have brought in winger Joe Leesley on loan from National League rivals Harrogate Town until January.
He signed a two-year contract extension in November 2018, tying him to Wetherby Road until 2022.
Stockport manager Jim Gannon said: “I’m delighted to welcome Joe to Edgeley Park. I am a long-time admirer of Joe as a player and professional and I have been very strong in my conviction that he will add significantly to the team in terms of quality and balance in our attack. I think the signing of Joe shows the intent of the club to move to the ‘next level’.
“We are now entering an important stage of the season where I believe we need the addition of one or two signings to enhance the team structure, balance and quality. We have had a very good start but I believe (like last season with the signings of Elliot Osborne and Jamie Stott) we need the added fitness, strength and quality of new full time players to add to the group and ensure that we continue improving and moving forward.”
