Hartlepool United are awaiting a National League decision whether to ratify or reject Raj Singh’s ownership, report The Hartlepool Mail.
The Mail has learned that Singh and his team of solicitors met with the league on Monday afternoon at their headquarters in Birmingham. At that meeting he presented a business plan to the governing body, outlining his visions for the club not only for the immediate future, but also long-term. In those plans it is understood Singh painted a sustainable, but scaled back, future for the club, a far cry from the shambles of recent years.
Now, having put his case to the league, Singh, along with fellow investor Jeff Stelling and new director of football Craig Hignett, must play the waiting game.
