Luke James is hoping to make the most of the football suspension and come back ready to go again for Hartlepool United in the National League.
The 25-year-old picked up a groin injury during the 1-0 FA Cup second round victory over Exeter City at Victoria Park back in December that threatened to keep him out of action until the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
With the National League season currently suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak, James could now potentially be available for all seven of Pools’ remaining matches – if and when the season gets back under way.
The National League board are meeting on Tuesday to discuss the best way to conclude the current season.
And after enjoying a good run of form in the side with three goals and five assists in the eight matches prior to his injury set-back, James will be hoping to pick up right where he left off.
