Hastings United say they will be negotiating with Sutton United over compensation for Adam Lovatt.
The midfielder was announced as a new signing yesterday for the National League side, having previously featured for them in pre-season.
Lovatt made over a century of appearances for The U’s, who have said:
“Adam Lovatt is an example of the of quality being produced in our academy, and joins Jamie Fielding from the year before moving on to a professional contract.
“We will be negotiating with Sutton United on a compensation agreement for a player who was held in high regards by all at The ‘U’s.”
