Stockport County winger Abs Baggie has left the club by mutual consent to pursue other opportunities in full time football.

Hatters boss Jim Gannon said: “I would like to wish Abs every success in the future and thank him for his contribution at Stockport County.”

Abs said: “I am extremely grateful for the time spent at such a great club with first rate people and I wish all the success to County moving forward.”

The 23-year-old came to Edgeley Park as one of Neil Young’s first signings, arriving from Bristol Rovers last June. The Sierra Leone international has made 14 appearances this season but a couple of niggly injuries prevented him enjoying an extended run in the side, so he now hopes to secure a full-time deal elsewhere.
