Paul Robinson has become the latest former Football League player to join Havant & Waterlooville ahead of their maiden season in The National League.
The 36-year-old centre back joins the Hawks after leaving AFC Wimbledon at the end of last season following three years at Kingsmeadow.
Following a 14-year stint at Millwall and a season at Fratton Park, “Robbo” has notched up 446 Football League appearances and it is that experience which manager Lee Bradbury feels will benefit the Hawks in the new season:
“He’s played at a very good level, is a leader of men and a very determined and hard-working character and will bring us a lot both on and off the pitch.
“It’s a good signing, it’s fortunate that he lives 10 minutes away in Petersfield and everything seemed to fit for him.
“We’re very excited by the signing and will be a great addition to the great defence that we have already got.”
