Striker Alfie Pavey has joined Havant and Waterlooville on a two-year contract after leaving the Hawks’ title rivals from last season Dartford.

Aldershot Town

The 22-year-old joins the club with vast experience of the National League following stints with Barnet, Aldershot and Bromley in the same division as that the Hawks will ply their trade in for the first time.

The 6-foot 1-inch striker will prove to be towering figure in the opposition penalty area which certainly proved to be the case at the Darts last season netting 22 times in The National League South, his most prolific season in senior football.

Pavey started his career at Maidstone United having made his way through the academy at the Gallagher Stadium before being touted by Championship side Millwall. Pavey would spend three years at the club, although he would spend most of this period on loan to clubs predominantly in the Hawks’ division
