Havant and Waterlooville have announced that a new 3G surface will be installed at Westleigh Park from next season.
The Hawks are currently preparing for the National League South play-offs, as they look to make an immediate return to the fifth tier.
Manager Paul Doswell told the club’s website: “Having worked with Jason Douglass before at S&C Slatter when I was at Sutton United, we have chosen the best company in the country to install our surface. I saw firsthand at Sutton what a game-changer the 3G pitch became and I’m convinced that this will be the focal point of the local community.
“It will enable all the boys, girls and adults to enjoy playing football in a safe, stadium environment, and we cannot wait to see the facility in use.”
