Bristol Rovers have announced the signing of Jonah Ayunga from Havant & Waterlooville.
The 23-year-old striker joins the League One club after the end of Havant & Waterlooville’s participation in the National League South play-offs. The English-born Kenyan international joins for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.
Ayunga scored 23 goals in all for the Hawks in 2019/20. His new manager Ben Garner told the club’s website: “We are delighted to bring Jonah to the Mem.
“Given the season he has just had, there was interest from a number of EFL clubs, and we are very pleased that we have managed to agree a deal that will see Jonah play here at Rovers.
“He’s another player that we have looked at extensively over a long period of time and we feel that the qualities he brings will enhance the squad we are assembling.”
