Havant & Waterlooville manager Paul Doswell is looking forward to tomorrow’s trip to Dulwich Hamlet in the National League South.
Doswell wants to use the clash at Champion Hill as a way to put Saturday’s Trophy defeat to Chelmsford City fully out of the system.
With Saturday’s tie looking as if it would go to a replay before a last-minute winner for the Clarets sealed progression, the outcome means the Hawks can face a league game, which the gaffer always preferred to play.
He said: “I said to the players Saturday it was either Dulwich or Chelmsford.
“Our preference in the end was to always play Dulwich, because we don’t want to go too far behind in league games.”
