Whitehawk have confirmed the signings of defenders Tom Cadman and Ed Wakley and also forwards Pape Gueye and Bayan Fenwick.

All four have signed on for the season in recent days.

Cadman came through the youth system with local neighbours Brighton and Hove Albion before being released at the end of the 16/17 season.

Cadman has previously had a loan spell at Worthing and also played alongside another one of our Summer signings, Connor Tighe, whilst at Brighton.

Wakley came through the ranks at Portsmouth FC, spending four years at Fratton Park.

In his final season, Ed was awarded the Academy Player of the Season

Fenwick started his career with Lewes FC before being signed up to play for Crystal Palace, where he remained until 2013.

He then signed for Cardiff City, before having spells with Three Bridges, Bishops Stortford, Peacehaven and Telscombe and back with Lewes.

Most recently, Bayan has had spells with Torquay United, Truro City and Selkirk in Scotland.

Our final signing is Gueye, who joins on loan from National League side Sutton United.

Prior to signing with The U’s in January 2017, Pape had spells playing in France, Belgium and Malta.

Towards the end of the 16/17 season, Gueye also had a loan spell at now Bostik Premier League side Margate FC.
