Havant and Waterlooville boss Lee Bradbury has given an update on the squad as they prepare to return to the Vanarama National League South.
He told the club’s official website ‘Firstly Brian Stock has signed a one year extension to his contract, its good to keep the club captain here, he is a very influential player both on and off the pitch, he really drives the standards of the players every week and so a great signing for us.
Rory Williams has signed a two year deal, to have our player of the year commit his future to us is very positive news. Mike Carter ‘The Enforcer’ another positive signing for us with him signing a new 2 year contract. Bradley Tarbuck signed a two year deal, a talented up and coming youngster who did really well for us last season.
Ed Harris signed a new two year deal just last night to stay at Westleigh Park, again another signing i’m really pleased with, Ed is back at his best after his bad injury which kept him out for a season, the club stood by him and he stood by us, being out of contract and having a strong season for us, he’s decided to stay with us which shows the character he is, again another great signing for us. Players that are still under contract with us are, Alfie Rutherford, Wes Fogden, Jason Prior and Ryan Woodford’.
On new signings he said ‘I am always looking to improve the team, it’s my job to make sure we are a force to be reckoned with next season, so if players are going I will be looking to replace them with stronger players, we don’t want to go up and just be comfortable, we want to be a strong side and we will be expected to be a strong side, with the players we’ve got and new players coming in i’m sure we will be just that’.
