Forward Chris Assombalonga has gone on loan to Whitehawk on a month`s loan from National League side Dagenham & Redbridge.

Twenty-five-year-old Assombalonga scored 31 times in thirty-four games at Ryman League Division One North side Waltham Abbey during the 2015/16 season.

That drew the attention of a number of clubs and he put pen-to-paper and signed for the Daggers on a two-year deal in June 2016.

To date he has played nine times for the Daggers` first-team and scored one goal.

He will hope to follow his Brother Britt’s rise from non-League football to Championship level with Nottingham Forest.

Meanwhile, Tony Lee and Jack Masterton, both on loan from National League side Eastleigh, have had their loan deals extended by two months until mid-December.
