Alfy Whittingham has left Havant and Waterlooville on a permanent basis to join National League South side Hungerford Town.

The 19-year-old was a product of the Hawks Academy run in conjunction with HSDC College and was integrated with the first team in local cup competitions whilst getting game time on loan.

The midfielder / right-back is the son of Guy Whittingham, the former Aston Villa, Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth striker who also went on to manage Pompey.

He leaves the Hawks as Lee Bradbury’s side begin their first campaign in the Vanarama National League.
