Bostik League South Central club Hayes & Yeading United have re-signed experienced striker Elliot Benyon from Bostik Premier side Leatherhead.
Benyon began his career at Bristol City and enjoyed loan spells with St Albans City and Crawley.
He subsequently signed for Torquay United and appeared at Wembley in the Gulls’ 0-1 defeat to Ebbsfleet United in the 2008 FA Trophy final.
The following year he appeared at Wembley again when Torquay beat Cambridge United 2–0 in the Conference National Promotion Final.
In January 2011 he moved to Swindon Town, scoring on his debut against Rochdale. Six months later, he went on loan to Wycombe, followed by a transfer to Southend.
He re-joined Torquay in February 2013, initially on loan, and moves to Hayes & Yeading in February 2015 and Wealdstone followed.
In his last spell with the club, Benyon scored 21 goals in 57 appearances and was named the player of the year the same season.
