Heanor Town boss Glen Clarence has brought in Steve Hamilton as his new assistant manager at The Town Ground.

Hamilton is well-known on the local non-league circuit, having previously been involved at Belper Town, Mickleover Sports, Long Eaton United, South Normanton and Borrowash Vics.

He said “Im pleased and excited about getting started at Heanor. Once id sat down and spoken to Glen and John I felt the buzz of the club and Glens passion and commitment shone through, its not a job to him, Heanor is a way of life and I was impressed with that. A lot of good work has gone in over the last few years both on and off the field, its a great set up and there’s a good quality squad of players here too which is key. Im looking forward to working with them all”
