King’s Lynn Town have announced the appointment of Mark Hearle as the club’s commercial/general manager.

Hearle will need no introduction to many supporters, as he has served the club for many seasons as its media officer. He will take up his new full-time role on January 8th.

Speaking on the appointment, he said: “It’s a great honour personally for me to be given this opportunity by Stephen (Cleeve) to come on board and work for the club, hopefully building many new partnerships with businesses not only in the Town but surrounding areas as well. The first priority for myself are to get the remainder of this season’s home games sponsored and to generate more income from the sports bar and the two upstairs lounges.

“They are wonderful, underused facilities that we have at our disposal and we do need to use them more than we have been , generating valuable revenue. I will also be assisting in the daily running of the club and making sure that things run as smoothly and professional as is possible.

“I am under no illusions as to the task ahead of me. However we have a very marketable product at The Walks and we must maximise every avenue going forward to ensure that the positivity of the past few seasons is maintained as we continue to move forward.”
