Tranmere Rovers` striker Cole Stockton has agreed to join Scottish Premiership side Hearts when his contract ends this summer.
The 23-year old has spent the whole of his career at Prenton Park, progressing through the club’s academy before signing his first professional contract in 2012.
Last season he spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Sky Bet League Two side Morecambe before returning to Tranmere in January, scoring important goals in both the league and Buildbase FA Trophy.
As he will be signing for a club outside of England after the season in which he turned 23, Tranmere will not receive a fee for the player.
