Hyde United have secured the services of three players from last season’s squad for the upcoming campaign.

A statement on the club website outlines the agreements:

‘Pleased to announce that we have got another Trio of players returning next season.

First is forward David Brown, David made a total of 27 appearances for the Tigers last season scoring 10 goals and although his banter isn’t the best he runs like a Duracell bunny and certainly has an eye for goal welcome back Diddy Dave.

Second person coming back to Ewen Fields is James Hodges, James made 8 apperances between the sticks for the Tigers last season, James is a managers dream works hard in training and also does his own sessions away from Hyde he is highly thought of by fans and players alike and although most of the season he has been back up for Peter Crook every time he has come in he has always put on a great display for such a young talent he has a great future ahead of him welcome back James.

Lastly returning to Hyde albeit he was on loan last time is defender Sam Heathcote, Sam made 6 appearances for the Tigers in his loan spell in 2016/17 season only losing 1 game he played in, Ex Altrincham player Sam played 29 games for Ramsbottom and scored 11 goals for them in a makeshift striker role last season welcome back Sam .

Best of luck to all the lads in the new season.’
