Hebburn Town have appointed Kevin Bolam as manager.
Bolam has experience of managing the club’s reserve side and won the Wearside League this season. He succeeds Scott Oliver, who left his role recently.
Hebburn finished runners-up in the Ebac Northern League Division One this season.
On his appointment, Bolam said: “I’m absolutely delighted and I can’t wait to get started. I’m really excited by the prospect of working alongside some really, really good players and I’m really looking forward to it.”
Chairman Vin Pearson said: “Kevin has done a great job in the reserves over the past two seasons. The board wanted to keep the momentum whilst also ensuring minimum disruption to what we achieved last season,
“Kevin’s appointment feels like a natural progression within the club and sends good messages to other coaches and players about what we want to achieve here. Kevin has the full backing of the board.”
