Gloucester City midfielder Reece King and striker Edji Mbunga have joined Evo-Stik Northern Premier League side Hednesford Town.
Mbunga, 19, has been on loan at Cinderford Town in the Southern League Division One West but has seen his time there hampered by their FA Cup progress.
The former Birmingham City forward signed for the Tigers in August after impressing on trial for Tim Harris’ side in pre-season, and has joined the Pitmen on a dual registration deal.
King, 22, will also link up with Hednesford on a one month loan deal.
The central midfielder signed for City in February 2017 from Malvern Town and made an instant impact, putting in a man of the match performance on his full debut against Nuneaton Town.
Following completion of the relevant paperwork, the two players will be available for selection for Hednesford’s clash with Altrincham this evening.
Speaking on the moves, Tim Harris said “It’s vital that they are playing regular football at this stage of their careers.
“In Rob Smith and Larry Chambers Hednesford have two very good managers at that level of football and I’ve no doubt they will get the best out of the lads.”
