Hednesford Town boss Rob Smith and his number two Larry Chambers will be guiding the Pitmen again next season when they switch from the Northern Premier League to the new Midlands Division.
After returning to the Keys Park in September 2017 following the departure of Neil Tooth, the duo have have agreed new deals for the 2018-19 campaign after meeting with the EVO-STIK League Premier Division club’s chairman Steve Price to discuss their futures.
As the Pitmen start preparing for life outside the NPL following the Football Association’s restructuring of Non-League’s Steps 3 and 4 this summer, Smith told the club’s official website he was hungry for success next season.
The Pitmen boss, pictured, said: “I’ve still got lots of ambition to do well with this football club and we really think that we can do that. Yes, it is going to be a new and interesting competition for us but with a competitive budget behind us I feel as if we can push on.”
