Gateshead have signed former Sunderland winger Rees Greenwood until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old left Sunderland by mutual consent on Thursday, having come through the youth system at his local club, and Steve Watson has moved quickly to add him to his Vanarama National League Squad on Tyneside.
