Toolstation Northern Counties East League Division One club Winterton Rangers have announced that Scott Hellewell will be stepping up from the role of assistant boss to take over the vacant managerial position.

Hellewell, who replaces Rob Watson who was sacked by the West Street side last week, will be joined in the dug-out by new player-assistant boss Paul Grimes.

Grimes is a vastly experienced goalcorer who was most recently with Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One East side Lincoln United.

He has also served the likes of rigg Town, Grantham Town, Belper Town and Gasinsborough Trinity.

Coach John Taylor will be staying in his role, the club has also confirmed.
