Kidderminster Harriers’ Ashley Hemmings isn’t interested in individual praise this season, insisting the team’s current form is a result of a real collective effort.

The livewire former Boston United man took his own tally for the season to six on Tuesday night with a brace in the 3-0 victory over Alfreton at Aggborough.

That kept up the team’s own decent recent form, but solo plaudits don’t seem to register much with the 29-year-old.

Naturally, he admits he’s as happy as anyone would be to have found the net on Tuesday night, but he quickly turned the spotlight on to the team as a whole.

“Of course I’m happy to get two, but that’s what we’re about as a team – the rewards,” he said.
