As the end-of-season fates continue to be sealed one way or another, Hereford FC and South Shields had great cause for celebration on Tuesday night (April 17th).

Hereford will be playing in the sixth tier next season as club stalwart Rob Purdie struck the winner in a 1-0 victory at Biggleswade Town. It seals the Evo-Stik League South Premier title for the Bulls, making it three in a row as the club continues its rapid progress since being reformed in 2014.

In the North East, meanwhile, South Shields are also celebrating three in succession, but the title still has to be secured in the Evo-Stik North. The Mariners roared on home to a 3-0 win over Glossop North End in front of their home crowd and they can look forward to the Evo-Stik Premier in 2018/19.
