Only one team turned up at the Bucks Head to play football according to a frustrated Telford manager Gavin Cowan as his side was held to a 1-1 draw by struggling Hereford.
Cowan was disappointed after the game, and labelled it as two points dropped. But he said it was a compliment to his side that Hereford came and played how they did.
He said: “It was was a missed chance, but that shows how far we have come. I can’t ask any more of the players, but the game should have been over in five minutes.
“We’ve had something like five chances in five minutes, and you’re thinking what sort of day it is going to be. But it was a brilliant footballing display again, we were excellent without possession.
“But we are disappointed as it is two points dropped. It is a compliment to us that they played the way they played, with ten men behind the ball.”
