Hereford have received good news with regards to the injury to John Mills.

Mills first felt issues with his knee during the comeback versus Slough Town, with the issue getting progressively worse to a point that he was sidelined during the 1-0 win over Biggleswade. He underwent a scan on Tuesday morning.

Speaking to the Official Website, Bulls boss Pete Beadle said “We’ve received good news from the results of the scan. The scan shows that there is no serious damage to the knee.

“There is a very small nick in the cartilage behind the patella. The recommendation from the consultants is for us to manage the injury throughout the season.

“If it becomes uncomfortable for John then we will have to play it by ear.”
