Hereford have confirmed that they have received an approach from Grimsby Town for Giles Coke.
The experienced midfielder is now training with the League Two side, with Hereford saying they have waived the seven-day notice period.
The former Sheffield Wednesday man joined the Bulls back in September.
Manager Josh Gowling told the club’s website:
“We wish Giles all the best at Grimsby, it’s a fantastic opportunity for him to return to the Football League, and an opportunity that we would not want to stand in the way of.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to thank Giles for his efforts whilst with us and wish him well for the future.”
Coke, 34, has played in the Championship for Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton Wanderers and Ipswich Town. He has also represented the likes of Mansfield Town, Motherwell and Northampton Town in his career.
